Zumba this morning. I forgot how good it feels to get up early and work out!

I really think there may be no better way to spend an hour than Zumba. I went with some girlfriends last night; it was one of the most intensely FUN things I've ever done. (To all former English teachers, including my mother, yes FUN was the most appropriate word for the occasion) It was held in this huge, dark room (so no one can see when you accidentally make up your own moves) with pounding music and the instructor made you want to be JUST like her. In fact, if I graduate from music school and discover it's completely useless, I think I'd like to be a zumba instructor. I know I always say I could never be a teacher, but cut out the messy stuff like forming relationships with your students, or trying to make something boring into something fun, and it may just be my kind of job. Ya just learn the steps and shake your booty! I was drenched by the end of the hour and didn't even realize I'd been working! And to cap off the night, we watched Anchorman, which, come on can anybody think of a more enjoyable evening? I can't.
