my first post

So, I am now a blogger. Disclaimer: the dryness of this report does not reflect on the personality of the blogger. L'abri has been very good so far, and I'm not regretting coming. When I met Ben at the train station in Geneva, I was pretty tired, but so was he. we walked around the city for awhile and enjoyed the sights, ate ice cream, and took pictures, which I will try to get up on this page when I can. Then we took a very long train/bus journey to L'abri and got our rooms. Incidentally, my roommate's name is Kara. I found out yesterday that I am the youngest person here. I met Beccah Bishop, who is very nice. We had a good day of cleaning, lecturing, and disscussion on Wednesday, and today was our day off, so Ben and I visited two of the nearby villages and ate some local food. The food here is amazing, and it's also really good at L'abri. mealtimes are probably my favorite time of day. Not surprising, I guess. The mountains are bigger and more beautiful than you can imagine from the pictures, and you can smell how fresh the air is all the time.
