California Curls

Hurrah! So since I can't seem to take pictures with my own camera, Erik was nice enough to send me some of his from my California trip. We spent the last day wandering around San Fransisco, mostly in the Golden Gate Park, where we experienced the Conservatory and various other botanical wonders free of charge. Then we drove around a lot of other streets which I can't remember the names of and ate some delicious ice cream and hipstered it up in a park (his words). Oh and there were burritos. Scrumptious ones.

There was also this church. And there were people inside doing yoga in a circle.
And before San Fransisco, there was Berkeley, and Tahoe, and Santa Cruz. There was a kite, and sandwiches, and fun friends, and Redwood trees, and rivers, and hiking, and cooking, and family, and maybe another scrumptious burrito, and pie, and Ponyo, and rain, hail, thunder, and lightning, and tons and tons of good music. I believe there is nothing better than sharing adventure with a good friend.

In the Conservatory. Carnivorous plants.

Lily Pads. You can't really see them, but behind these ones
were the largest lily pads I've ever seen. They grow in the
Amazon and they can support the weight of a grown man.
According to the plaque.

Tiny, Captivating Orchids.
